The Anza Borrego Desert State Park,
2 hours west of San Diego.
A lot of desert.
Not a lot of people...
Actually we didn't see anyone else.
But we did see a big fat hairy spider. A trantula. Really!
Isabella made friends with a cactus.
And learned the true meaning of the word "ouch"!
She also got to "help" Antoine set up his telescope.
And then struck out for a walk on her own
- she was fearless!
Time out for breakfast
Followed by a little desert mountain biking...
